This feature allows you to create a reusable blueprint for future projects. Templates do not carry over project-specific context like activity logs, actual progress, or due dates.

How to save a template:

1 - Click on the gear icon below the star icon on a project to open the Project Properties panel. If you are inside a project, you can access its properties in the “Settings” page.

2 - Scroll down to the Template section, click on the Save to Template button. A pop-up window will appear.

3 - Select your targeted workspace from the drop-down menu - This means you have copied projects in multiple workspaces.

4 - Give your template a name and select which elements you’d like to include, then click Save.

Reminders:

Save to template option is available:

  • To all workspace members when the projects are public and have Full Access permission settings.

  • To all project members when the projects are public or private and have Full Access or Limited Access permission settings.

  • To ONLY project creators and admins when the projects are public or private and have Restricted Access permission settings.

How to create a project from a saved template:

1 - Click on any Green Plus (+) button you see across the workspace.

2 - Go to the “Saved templates” (Template Library) tab, select the template you like and click Use template.

3 - You can also set your project as Private (by default) or Public, and invite project members before clicking Create project.
