We have 2 options for exporting CSV Project files.
NOTE: The formatting can be due to MS Excel having a limitation on the length of text in 1 cell (32,767 characters to be exact), Anything more than that will be cut to the next row, which messes up the layout. Google sheets have 50,000. So it can take more before breaking.
A. Workspace Setting
Go to the name of your workspace, and click the dropdown arrow.
Choose Manage Settings, and under the Settings Tab, click Workspace Projects.
Click Export to CSV.
B. In the Project Settings.
Click on the gear icon in the top right corner to open the project settings.
Scroll down and click on "Export to CSV".
The downloaded CSV file can be opened in most spreadsheet programs such as Excel 365 for Windows users, Numbers for MAC or Google sheets on any platform. The file includes all task properties including completion date, subtasks and custom fields.
