How do I change my email or password when using Google SSO

Using Google SSO to create your Taskworld account is an easy and quick way to get started, however, it also means that you don't have a password set for your Taskworld account from the start.

If you would like to log in with your email address and password instead (or would like to use our Microsoft Teams integration), you need to create a password first.

How to create/change a password:

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
    (If you haven't uploaded a picture yet, you'll see your initials there)

  2. Select "Account Settings"

  3. In the tab "General", click on the second option "Password" to expand the menu

  4. Select "Reset password", this will prompt you to a new page

  5. Insert your email address and click "Submit"

  6. You will be sent an email (don't forget to check the spam folder!)

  7. Click the link in the email and confirm your new password

  8. And done! You can now log in to Taskworld using your email address and password!

How to change your email address:

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner

  4. Click on "Change email"

  5. Insert your new email address and click "Continue"

  6. You will be sent an email (don't forget to check the spam folder!)

  7. Click the link in the email to confirm

  8. And done! You can now log in to Taskworld using your new email address
