How does it work?
Stay in touch and up to date with all your projects by receiving all updates/notifications from Taskworld in Microsoft Teams.
You’ve been assigned to a task
You’ve been added as a follower to a task
Someone commented on your task
A due date has been added or updated for your task
Your task was completed
**This integration is only available for Enterprise users.**
How to set it up:
1 - Go to your “Account Settings” by clicking on your profile picture at the top right (If you haven't uploaded a picture yet, you'll see your initials there).
2 - Look for “Integrations” tab.
3 - Click on the "Connect" button next to Microsoft Teams.
3 - You will be routed to Microsoft Teams' page.
4 - Log in with your Taskworld credentials.
Please note: Currently, our Microsoft Teams integration is not compatible with Google SSO. In order to connect Taskworld to Microsoft Teams, please use your Taskworld login credentials (email and password). If you signed up with Taskworld using Google SSO and have no set password yet, please follow this guideline.
How to log in with Microsoft Teams App:
1 - Open your Microsoft Teams account.
2 - Click on the Apps icon in the bottom left corner.
3 - Type "Taskworld" in the search box to find our integration.
If you are unable to find or install Taskworld in your Teams account, your organization might have restricted the use of 3rd party apps. Please get in touch with your IT Administrator to resolve this.
4 - Select "Taskworld" logo in the search results, this will open a pop-up window.
5 - Click Add.
6 - Once the app is added, you will see a welcome message. Click on the “Login in Taskworld” button, this will direct you to the "Taskworld login" page again.
7 - Choose your server environment and put in your Taskworld credentials to login.
8 - After successful authorisation, you will receive a confirmation notification and see some basic chatbot commands you might need to manage the integration's settings.
9 - Select the workspace you'd like to use with the integration and click Save.
10 - And that's it! The integration is set up and ready to use. You should start receiving notifications soon.
How to maximise the usage of this integration:
The "Taskworld App" icon should appear on the sidebar navigation as a tab.
You can view the task details by selecting the "Task details" button in the bottom of the notification message, or open it in Taskworld.
How to remove the Taskworld App from Microsoft Teams:
1 - Open your Microsoft Teams, click on the 3-dot on the sidebar navigation.
2 - Right-click on the "Taskworld App" icon.
3 - Select Uninstall.
4 - A pop-up window will appear, requiring you to confirm before removing it.
