Some tasks matter more than others, and some notes simply can’t be overlooked. Pinning a task, note, or subtask to the top of your task list is a great way to keep your project organized and ensure important items never slip through the cracks.

How to pin/unpin these items:

1 - Right click on the item to open the option list and select Pin to this tasklist.

2 - Your pinned item will be moved to the top of the tasklist with a "pin" icon shown in the left corner of it.

3 - Do the same if you would like to unpin it, or click on the 3-dot icon at the top right corner of the item properties window.

4 - You will be asked to confirm when you want to unpin the item.

Reminders:

  • A task can be pinned to ONLY one tasklist at a time.

  • Pin settings are project-specific, so the same task can be pinned differently across multiple projects.

  • Pinned tasks can be dragged and dropped between tasklists.

  • When you drop a pinned task onto an unpinned area, it will automatically be placed above all unpinned tasks, just below the last pinned task in that list.

  • When dropping onto another pinned task, you’ll be able to choose the exact position where it should go.

  • Pinned tasks can be completed, and if you later mark them as incomplete again, they will return to their last known pinned position.
