Mapping Data for CSV. Import

To help you get started, we've provided you with a blank CSV template that outlines the required fields, such as Project, Tasklist, Tasks, Assigned To, and Followers. Make sure each column follows the correct format (e.g., the Points column must contain numbers from 0–5) to ensure a smooth and successful import.

Enter the desired project name.
If all tasks belong to the same project, use the same project name for every row.

Tasks that belong in the same list should share the same task list name.
If they belong to different lists, enter the appropriate list name for each one.

Enter the name of each individual task.
Each row should represent one task.

Enter any details or notes for the task.

Enter the email address of the member assigned to the task.
This must exactly match the email registered in the workspace.

Enter the email address of the member who should follow the task.
This must also exactly match their registered workspace email.

A default creation date is provided but may be edited if needed.

You may specify a completion date; however, the task will not be marked as completed automatically.
It will only display the completion date.

Enter the planned start date for the task.

Enter the expected completion date for the task.

Enter any tags you wish to use for sorting, filtering, or organizing tasks.

The status field cannot be modified during the import process.

Valid entries range from 0 to 5 only.

You may remove checklist items if they are not needed.
To include them, leave the existing items as they are or add new ones manually by prefixing them with "#".

Subtasks must have a different task name from the main task.

They must belong to the same project and task list.

Set the Subtask column to TRUE.

Use the same Subtask Reference ID as the main task to link them correctly.

Each task must have a name and belong to a task list.

Set the Main Task column to FALSE.

Ensure each subtask uses the same reference ID as its corresponding main task.

Any project created through CSV import will be set to Private by default.
