Where is it?

Click on your profile picture at the top right corner of the page (If you haven't uploaded a picture yet, you'll see your initials there).

What notifications can you manage here?

You can control several types of notifications across different channels. Some notifications are always on and pre-set, while others can be toggled on or off depending on the channel.

Channels

Browser

Web (in-app)

Mobile

Email

Default notification settings (pre-set and always on) in Browser & Web (in-app) channels

All Tasks:

- Someone added me as assignee

- Someone added me as follower

- Someone added due date to my tasks

- Someone changed due date in my tasks

- Someone commented on my tasks

- Someone completed my tasks

Chat:

- Someone sends me a direct message

Reminders:

- My tasks are overdue

- Task Reminder

Adjustable notification settings (can be toggled on/off) for Email channel

All Tasks:

- Someone added me as assignee

- Someone commented on my tasks

Chat:

- Someone sends me a direct message

Reminders:

- My tasks are about to start (Emails will be sent 24 hours before the start date).

- My tasks are almost due (Emails will be sent 24 hours before the due date).

Morning Digest:

- Overdues and to-dos

Workspace:

- Analytics email reports: Create a sample report by email that can be automatically sent to owners/admins of workspaces

- Someone creates a project group

NOTE:

  • If you disable notifications in your browser settings (Safari, Chrome, Firefox), all notifications will be turned off.

  • Mobile notifications for Tasks and Chat are fully adjustable. When using Taskworld in your browser or the web app, you can turn off these mobile notifications to avoid receiving excessive alerts on your phone.
