How to set a recurrence for a task:

When a task needs to be repeated, you can set a recurrence period to ensure it is automatically recreated, following to the rule.

1 - Open a task and its properties window.

2 - In the “Date” tab, set a start date or a due date for your task.

3 - Scroll down to the Repeat section, from the drop-down menu, choose how often you want the task to recur daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or yearly. You can base the recurrence on either the task’s start date or due date.

NOTE: If you set a recurrence based on the Due Date, a copied new task will be automatically and immediately generated once the current task is marked as complete.

How to set date rules:

This feature lets you automatically schedule task dates based on other lead time or milestones, which helps saving time and keeping projects consistent and reduces manual work.

Here’s how it works:

- Lead Time: Sets a date that happens before or after another key date (e.g., start a task 3 days before the project's due date).

- Milestone: Sets a date that happens before or after another event (e.g., follow-up 2 days after launch).

You can define:

- Duration type: Days, weeks or months.

- Priority: Whether it happens before or after.

- Base date: Linked to a task’s start date or due date; or project's start date or due date.

Once set, Taskworld auto-adjusts your task’s date if the related date changes, keeping everything aligned.
