UPDATE MARCH 2024 - Sort by custom fields added to Kanban view.

By popular demand, you can now sort by custom fields in the Kanban view, allowing you to change your Kanban task list view using any of your predefined Custom Fields.

You can sort any of your Task Lists by any Custom Fields that you’ve defined in your Project Settings, like Text, Number, or Dropdown (in ascending or descending order).

*Please note that the Dropdown order you give for the Dropdown field will be the order by which your Kanban board will be sorted.

How to Sort by Custom Fields in Kanban View

Click on the three dots at the top of any Kanban Tasklist.

Navigate to and click Sort to see your sorting options:

Click on the Custom Fields option at the bottom of the list to see any of your previously defined Custom Fields options:

To finish sorting by Custom Fields, select A > Z or 1 > 9 (ascending) or Z > A or 9 > 1 (descending) order. Your Kanban board tasklist will now be sorted based on your Custom Fields!
